I know Christmas is a long way off, (though no doubt decorations and all manner of useless paraphernalia will be on sale before long...), but I have a situation I'd like to put you all. Due to my mother's recent passing, over the Christmas break my dad will be travelling back to Scotland to spend a month or so with his family over there. I am really pleased for him, and am in full support of him doing this. He's slightly concerned though about what I will do. I have a few options. I could go with him (paying my own way of course), but he hasn't really suggested that, which I completely understand. I don't want to intrude on his time to be a
